What we expect from you / Your challenge:

 

As a Demand and Supply Planner, you will be responsibilities will be:

  • Demand forecast creation & analysis: Creation of a bottoms-up demand forecast using actuals data, insight on trends/seasonality and Commercial insight.
  • Supply planning & analysis: Proactive review of supply statuses & raise of any risks/opportunities to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders (e.g. sales) to collate insight and understand their objectives, challenges, and goals.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Model Design: Design and optimize complex supply chain models, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, sales & operations planning (S&OP), and integrated business planning (IBP).
  • Risk Management: Using available data (e.g. demand, inventory, allocation) to proactively review plans, mitigate risks and manage stakeholder expectations.

Desired Skills and Experience / Your profile:

 

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Maximum of 5 years in supply chain or 2+ years of relevant industry experience in supply chain planning (e.g. owing demand & supply plans).
  • Preferably, you have a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations research, industrial engineering, business administration, international trade, or equivalent fields.
  • Industry experience in Consumer, Tech Devices and/or Retail.
  • Knowledge of key concepts within supply chain planning processes, namely, Demand Planning and Forecasting (S&OP, S&OE, IBP) and Inventory Management and Allocation.
  • Nice to have previous experience in managing product portfolios, namely, understand New Product Introduction Management and End-of-Supply Management.
  • Experience with supply chain planning solutions (e.g. Anaplan, o9, Tableau) and with Google Suite of products (e.g. Google Sheets, Google Slides).
  • Strong written and verbal communication and you are fluent in English and one other language, namely, Spanish and/or Italian.
  • Team player, and you have the ability to build and managed relationships.
  • Capable of risk, ambiguity and scope management.
  • Strong analytical skills and technology/digital acumen and/or keen interest.
  • Open to work in an international environment, abroad if needed.
