Your day-to-day and responsibilities:

  • Recruit, mentor, and train security personnel on security risks and appropriate security procedures;
  • Develop policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure standardization and governance;
  • Manage team scheduling, assign tasks, communicate with and develop team members; evaluate employee performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct ongoing performance reviews;
  • Monitor incidents to assess them and recommend appropriate courses of action;
  • Lead the identification, scoping, and implementation of opportunities;
  • Collaborate with leadership on the strategic development of security analytics capabilities and service offerings.

 

You are the person we are looking for if you:

  • Have knowledge of network protocols, Linux and Windows infrastructures, and basic network security architecture concepts;
  • Possess hands-on experience with technology automation, integration, and/or implementation;
  • Have experience assessing cybersecurity maturity and developing multi-year plans to enhance it; are familiar with the MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF frameworks;
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of security industry regulations;
  • Are able to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical projects and system solutions;
  • Hold a master's degree or equivalent professional experience (at least 2 years in similar roles);
  • Hold relevant Cybersecurity certifications and training, which will be considered an advantage;
  • Are fluent in English, both spoken and written;
  • Have proven experience leading and developing a team of cybersecurity professionals;
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences, from team members to partners or clients;
  • Have proven experience leading process improvement initiatives and change management efforts.
