We're going to strengthen our EMEA Cyber & Telecommunications Networks (C&TN) and we're looking for a Senior Network Engineer Consultant to lead the engineering and operational improvement of enterprise network and security services for international clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities: 

• Service engineering and design: Lead the design, integration, lifecycle, and optimization of resilient enterprise network and security services; define practical standards for availability, security, and supportability.
• Zscaler technical ownership: Use strong hands-on experience to engineer and operate deployed Zscaler services, including policy and access design, traffic flows, advanced troubleshooting, and log-driven root-cause analysis (for example, ZIA and/or ZPA, depending on the environment).
• Firewall engineering: Lead complex policy, segmentation, NAT, and VPN changes across Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point platforms. Bring deep operational expertise in at least one and working proficiency with the other; promote secure rule lifecycle and review practices.
• Major incident leadership: Lead response to high-impact network/security incidents, coordinate resolver groups and client communications, establish root cause, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Change and transformation: Plan and govern high-risk changes, migrations, upgrades, and service transitions; validate test and rollback plans and coordinate maintenance windows.
• Performance and automation: Use telemetry and service metrics to identify capacity or reliability risks; develop or review automation using scripting, APIs, or appropriate platform tooling.
• Technical governance: Create and maintain engineering standards, network diagrams, configuration baselines, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Leadership and collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, coordinate with security, systems, and application teams, and participate in an on-call rotation when required.

Are you the one we are looking for? 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 6+ years in enterprise network engineering, network administration, or a closely related role, with demonstrated ownership of complex production services.
• Zscaler (required): Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Zscaler services in production, including policy/configuration ownership, access or traffic-flow analysis, and log-driven diagnosis. Experience with relevant deployed services such as ZIA and/or ZPA is expected.
• Networking: Strong knowledge of enterprise TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, BGP/OSPF, VPNs, and resilient network/security designs.
• Firewalls: Hands-on operational experience with Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point firewalls, including complex policy/rulebase and VPN troubleshooting; deep expertise in at least one platform and working proficiency in the other.
• Operations and tools: Experience leading incident and change processes, using network monitoring and diagnostic tools, and coordinating with vendors or cross-functional teams. Scripting, automation, and API experience are advantageous.
• Certifications: Relevant advanced networking or vendor certifications, such as CCNP or certifications in Zscaler, Fortinet, or Check Point, are preferred, not mandatory.
• Professional skills: Sound technical judgment, structured problem solving, confident client communication, and the ability to lead technical work and mentor others.

• Client Interaction and Consulting Expertise:

• Client engagement: Lead technical discovery and discussions, explain risk and trade-offs, and recommend network/security solutions aligned to client needs.
• Solution proposals: Develop and present technical approaches, options, and service improvements in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
