• Actively participate in consulting projects related to mobile and fixed telecommunications networks, with a focus on network transformation, security assessments, and strategic advisory services;
• Contribute to the design, planning, and assessment of secure network solutions, ensuring a holistic technical approach that integrates both business and technology requirements;
• Plan, coordinate, and, with the support of project teams, independently execute project activities, including risk assessments, security posture assessments, and compliance reviews;
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to identify security requirements, define mitigation strategies, and support the implementation of solutions aligned with international cybersecurity standards;
• Support the development of project deliverables, including technical reports, risk assessments, and presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders within your scope of responsibility, ensuring alignment with project objectives and delivery expectations.

Are you the one we're looking for?

• 5 to 10 years of experience in security design, security operations, or security assessments of mobile and/or fixed telecommunications networks;
• Strong knowledge of network architectures, with experience in at least one of the following domains:
  • Radio Access Networks (RAN);
  • Mobile Core Networks (EPC, 5GC);
  • Fixed Access/Core Networks;
  • Transport Networks (e.g., IP/MPLS, WDM, Microwave);
  • Satellite Infrastructure (VSAT) and Submarine Cable Systems;
  • Edge Infrastructure and Telco Cloud, OSS/BSS, and network orchestration platforms.
• Proven experience in telecommunications network security design or security assessments and vulnerability analysis, aligned with leading frameworks and standards such as:
  • NIST SP 800 Series;
  • ISO/IEC 27001/27002;
  • 3GPP TS 33.xxx;
  • GSMA FS.
• Familiarity with security tools for vulnerability scanning, configuration validation, and compliance reporting is considered an advantage, but is not mandatory;
• Understanding of network security principles, traffic encryption, cryptographic protocols, and countermeasures against threats such as signal interception, spoofing, and interference is considered an advantage, but is not mandatory;
• Certifications in Telecommunications, Cloud, or Cybersecurity (e.g., Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Red Hat, AWS, GCP, ISO 27001, CEH, CISSP) are highly valued but not mandatory;
• Experience with network function virtualization/containerization (VNF/CNF) and lifecycle management is considered an advantage;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with critical thinking applied to complex environments;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential in a client-facing consulting environment;
• Self-driven, proactive, and highly organized, with strong time-management skills;
• Team-oriented mindset, collaborative attitude, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues;
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• Academic background in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Availability to participate in international projects.
