Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Review security incidents escalated by Security Analysts and perform deeper assessments using threat intelligence information (Indicators of Compromise, updated rules, etc.);
• Document standard operating procedures (playbooks and runbooks);
• Identify potential security threats and determine the most appropriate security measures;
• Develop use cases, correlation rules, and alerts to enhance threat detection and response capabilities;
• Meet with clients to discuss security measures, provide insights, and recommend improvements to existing security systems;
• Stay up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technologies;
• Train Security Analysts to recognize and defend against security breaches and risks.

Are you the person we are looking for?

• Knowledge of network protocols, Linux and Windows infrastructures, and fundamental network security architecture concepts;
• Experience with infrastructure automation through scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or others;
• Knowledge of security best practices, frameworks, and industry regulations;
• Strong independent judgment, discretion, and risk analysis skills;
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques;
• Experience with SIEM technologies;
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (minimum of 1 year in similar roles);
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications and training are considered an advantage;
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
