Your day by day and responsabilities:

Storage Platform Management

• Own the design, deployment, and operation of NetApp storage solutions in enterprise and mission-critical environments.
• Manage NetApp platforms across the full lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, expansion, and decommissioning.
• Ensure storage environments meet availability, performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Deployment, Upgrade & Lifecycle Management

• Lead NetApp storage deployments for new environments and projects.
• Plan and execute firmware, ONTAP, and hardware upgrades, ensuring minimal service disruption.
• Manage obsolescence and lifecycle planning, including capacity forecasting and technology refresh initiatives.

Backup, Replication & Disaster Recovery

• Design and maintain backup and replication strategies, integrated with enterprise backup platforms.
• Implement and operate disaster recovery (DR) solutions, including SnapMirror, SnapVault, and failover mechanisms.
• Regularly validate DR and restore procedures, ensuring alignment with defined RPO/RTO objectives.
• Act as a technical lead during major incidents and recovery scenarios, contributing to root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.

Operations, Monitoring & Performance

• Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, and performance optimization of storage systems.
• Analyze usage patterns and anticipate capacity and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical storage incidents.
• Support change, incident, and problem management processes in line with ITIL 4.

Governance, Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure storage platforms comply with security, data residency, and access control policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and DR runbooks.
• Provide operational evidence and reporting to support audits and compliance reviews.

Collaboration & Service Delivery

• Work closely with infrastructure, database, and application teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability and performance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and delivery standards.
• Contribute to infrastructure design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.  

Are you the one we are looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification with practical experience.
• Proven hands-on experience managing NetApp storage solutions in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience with storage deployment, upgrades, backup integration, and disaster recovery.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure architectures.
• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in NetApp ONTAP, including SnapMirror, SnapVault, and storage replication concepts. Experience with SAN and NAS technologies. Knowledge of backup and recovery architectures and integration with enterprise backup tools. Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for storage platforms. Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for infrastructure environments.
• Personal Skills: Methodical, proactive, and ownership-driven approach. Strong problem-solving skills in high-availability environments. Clear and structured communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. High adaptability to evolving priorities and complex operational contexts.
