Title:  Front-End Engineer

We will be reinforcing our System Design & Engineering team at Deloitte Technology with a Front-end Software Engineer.

Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities

• Integrate and actively participate in technology consulting projects, with the possibility of coordinating and operational supervision of teams.
• Plan, execute and/or coordinate with autonomy the activities to be carried out in the elaboration of the various outputs within the scope of a project or project stream.
• Manage responsibly and according to your sphere of action the daily relationships with the client, national or international.
• Use with acquired experience different technology stacks in the web development / frontend area (programming, version controls, testing, and deployment).
• Solve Performance, Accessibility, Responsiveness and Compatibility issues in the context of web development.

Are you the person we are looking for?

• BS/MS degree and/or professional training in Multimedia Design, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering and/or similar areas;
• Years of experience: between 2 to 6 years in development projects;
• Functional design and development of Web applications in the presentation layer component;
• Develop and/or generate markup code (HTML4, HTML5), styling (CSS2, CSS3) and scripting (Javascript), from scratch and/or via templating.
• Develop web applications using at least one of the frontend UI frameworks: Angular, React, Vue.
• Develop Web applications using at least one of the Javascript libraries / "superset": jQuery, Typescript.
• Develop web applications using at least one of the CSS preprocessors: SCSS, Sass, Less.
• Experience in projects using Agile and Scrum methodology, Hybrid Agile and/or Waterfall, and respective tools;
• Cloud based application development on AWS, Azure or GCP;
• Knowledge of the English language in spoken and written domain;
• Communication, interpersonal, critical thinking and teamwork skills;
• Availability to travel;
• Experience in the design, implementation and roll-out of information systems;
• Ability to adapt to different contexts.
